  1. MAGIC POTION
  2.  
  3. YOU'LL NEED:
  4. Pitcher
  5. 1/2 cup sugar
  6. 1 envelope unsweetened flavored soft-drink mix
  7. 1/2 cup cold water
  8. Vanilla ice cream
  9. 6 tall glasses
  10. One 33.8-ounce bottle (1 liter) lemon-lime carbonated beverage or carbonated water, chilled

  12. STEP 1
  13. In the pitcher, dissolve sugar and soft-drink mix in water.
  14.  
  15. STEP 2
  16. Put 1 or 2 scoops of ice cream into each glass.
  17.  
  18. STEP 3
  19. To serve, stir the lemon-lime carbonated beverage into the soft-drink mixture.

  21. Pour over the ice cream in glasses.  Makes 6 servings.

  24. TRY THIS RECIPE FOR SOMETHING NEW:
  25. Fizzberries

  27. 1 10-ounce package frozen sliced strawberries
  28. 1 8-ounce carton of strawberry yogurt
  29. 1/2 cup orange juice
  30. 1 12-ounce can lemon-lime carbonated beverage
  31.  
  32. Thaw the berries. In a blender container combine berries, yogurt, and orange juice. Cover and blend until smooth. Stir in lemon-lime carbonated beverage. Pour into 4 glasses and serve. Makes 4 servings.
